On behalf of the Norwegian Geotechnical Society, we have the pleasure of inviting you to attend the second International Workshop on Landslides in Sensitive Clays (IWLSC). This workshop will be arranged at the Norwegian University of Science and

Technology (NTNU), in Trondheim, Norway, from the 12th to the 14th of June 2017.

The theme of the workshop is “from theory to implementation”.

It is about bridging the gaps between research and practice, which is the key to greater advances in the geotechnical engineering as such. This workshop will aim to bridge the gaps between young and seniors geo-professionals working on landslides in sensitive clays. The symposium shall provide a broad coverage of the scientific and engineering aspects of geo-hazards related to sensitive clays.
